“Cilla’s Book Maniacs developed from a group of friends from Beverly Jenkins Yahoo Group that enjoyed fellowship and traveling to different literary events. Over the years, the group has grown to 85 members from all across the United States, consisting of authors and readers and officially became a book club in 2010. A portion of the group that is not on social media can still be found in a Yahoo group called Readers Who Enjoy Black Romance Books.
Our purpose is to share our love of books, encourage and support each other and the authors while having fun. Since we are an online club our taste in books ranges from romance, historical romance, erotica, paranormal, Christian, young adult, mystery, contemporary and interracial novels.
